From the birth of our company, IPA was one of the first in its industry to provide the first wave of Chinese immigrants to Australia with loans for property, rental and business, while initiating our main goal to provide our clients a sound education on the potential investments within the Australian market. In 2004, IPA developed and sold 18 high quality townhouses in the Maribyrnong district of Western Melbourne with Burbank builders to lay the foundation for the company's future development. By 2010, IPA co-developed and sold 600 luxury apartments with MAB, a joint venture development in the centre of Melbourne, and has won numerous international awards such as the UDIA (Vic) Awards for Excellence UDA Excellence Award), Hobson Bay Business Excellence Award, Delfin Lend Lease Grand Masters Award, MAB The Quays Apartments Awards, Dulux Color Awards, The Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Architecture Awards, the Australian Timber Design Awards, the Premier Design Awards, the API Excellence in Property Awards, the Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Architecture Awards, the Australian Institute of Architects, Property awards;

In 2010, we felt Australia had provided sufficient resources and experience to IPA, and looking at the market of Australia during 2010 realised we had to expand, looking beyond our borders, making an executive decision we decided to enter the Southeast Asian market. IPA searched extensively within the South East Asian markets traveling to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand looking for potential properties for our Australian clients, where they can invest or potentially retire in. After a long period of observation and feedback, the group chose Thailand's "paradise of beaches" Phuket, located within this paradise are international hospitals, schools, international golf clubs, and the global yacht clubs. We felt it met the living standard and requirements our clients looked for, and felt it would be perfect for long term residency.
In recent years there has been an influx of international tourists visiting the island, with this the government has a built a brand new international airport, highway tunnels, a light rail system and various other improvements to the overall infrastructure of the island to ensure it provides the convenience of transport, and to meet international standards in living. With the government’s initiative for an international community, IPA sees this as a wonderful prospect for people who wish to make this beautiful island a home away from home.
From 2010 to 2013, IPA saw a boom in international tourism, and with this many of the tourists decided to remain. IPA initially only provided a channel for its clients to purchase property on the island, but being recognised as a powerful force behind the property boom in Phuket, we connected with the local government and gave us support to start our own projects with the help of local partners and business within the industry:
June 12, 2014, IPA incorporated in Phuket, after two years of market research, land research, planning research, capital allocation and other aspects of the careful preparation, vigorously take the pace of development, and at the beginning of 2016 the establishment of IPA's Phuket real estate development company was created - UTOPIA
In February 2016, Utopia joined the island's largest builder, Hatyai Nanthakorn (HYN), to develop the first project, Utopia Kata (UTK) at Kata Beach, 20 serviced apartments,
In April 2016, Utopia and House & Home – Housecare Service (H&H) developed and built the 2nd and 3rd projects – UTN Villa and UTN Condo (UTN) in Naiharn Beach, 9 villas and 110 unit 5-star hotel Condominium
In February 2017, Utopia again with H&H launched our fourth project – Utopia Loft (UTL) at Naiharn Beach, comprising of 237 luxury loft styled Hotel condominiums to complete the Utopia Naiharn Resort project
In April 2017, Utopia once again worked with HYN to build the fifth project – Utopia Central (UTC) starting at only 1.5 million Thai Baht to cater for the entry level buyers. This hotel condominium consists of 410 units and located in the Central of Phuket close to shopping malls, hospitals and schools.
With our first 5 projects selling out faster than expected In July 2017, Utopia received funding from our Chinese investors – BQ Overseas and our construction team, H&H we developed our 6th and final project for 2017. Utopia Karon (UBR) at Karon Beach, focusing on Phuket’s beautiful Andaman Seaview consisting of 283 units having both Freehold and Leasehold ownerships available
Two and a half years later, Utopia a development team under the guidance of IPA attained six projects on the island and utilising their extensive knowledge on Australian design and construction, injected a sum close to 2 billion Thai Baht into the development of the properties.
Unlike the smaller developers on the island, who don't actually own the land and begin development before the ownership is attained, Utopia owns all the land on which they develop, while being backed by the capital provided by IPA and not money from the Thai banks. This provides the client with peace of mind that our scheduled dates for construction will be met and that the projects will be complete. Utopia as a company has received recognition and praise from clients across the globe.
IPA is committed in its efforts in providing a complete service to its clients within the real estate market, ranging from high end real estate development, construction and hotel management. Our ultimate goal is to create a unique community in Phuket, with future plans to develop no less than 10 luxury beach side resorts, and with our 6 projects on the way creating a network of properties designed through Utopia. Our aim is to create our own ecosystem of transport on the island, through shuttle buses and working with the local taxi services providing ease of mind for long term residency. The government body in Phuket has recognised IPA's work in improving Phuket, and accelerating its growth and we have also provided them advice on various large scale infrastructure projects and facilities in Phuket, such as tourism, health and public transport. IPA is not only trying to provide its clients with an opportunity to reside in Phuket, but also helping in the construction of a sanctuary for all of its future residence. We believe IPA will only garner more attention with the years to come, and will be recognised as a strong force across the Andaman Sea and on the paradise that is known as Phuket.
